Job Description

Bindery and Finishing Technician Minuteman Press, the world's largest and top-rated commercial print, marketing and design franchise is seeking candidates for a position as a Bindery and Print Finishing Technician in our Norwich, CT location. This is a full-time Monday - Friday day shift position. Prior commercial print finishing and bindery experience is preferred but not necessary, we will train any ambitious candidate with a high mechanical aptitude. Compensation commensurate with experience. You will be responsible for all aspects of the print finishing and bindery department, to include; cutting, collating, stapling, scoring, perforating, padding, envelope inserting, book binding and packaging of all printed products.
Minimum qualifications for consideration:
Previous experience in commercial print production, or other closely related fields (wide format, commercial signage, etc.), is preferred but not necessary. Must be able to demonstrate key transferable skills from other relevant work experience. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. High organizational competence, with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. Exceptional attention to detail. Strong basic math and problem-solving skills. Professional appearance and attitude. Bilingual in Spanish or other languages is a plus but not required.
