  • $20 per hour Job Overview The Manufacturing Operator will run molding machines and secondary operations as required while maintaining and confirming the quality of our products.
Responsibilities Safety is everyone's responsibility Visually and dimensionally inspect and assemble parts to quality specifications, being aware of critical visual and dimensional defects and determining acceptability of the parts. Complete inspection records accurately Ensure accurate packaging and traceability of product, including the correct labeling and accurate part count Perform basic equipment troubleshooting on auxiliary equipment Communicate with supervisor/lead operator regarding any unacceptable parts, malfunctions of the production process within their workstation, or safety issues Utilize route sheets and work instructions to ensure parts meet both customer and internal requirements Remove parts from injection molding machines during gate tended operations Make use of auxiliary equipment to aid in the assembly process.
Examples:
sonic welders, heat sealers/shrink wrappers, and granulators Perform routine cleaning of machines and work areas Account for and record production and scrap counts Follow all HACCP (Hazard and Critical Control Points) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) Expected to be available for work in both the Somers and Ellington production facilities. Job location may be shifted daily or weekly to meet production needs. Regular, on-time attendance at work is an essential function of every job at Dymotek Support the organization's needs in various functions Minimum Qualifications/Skills Personal core values that align with Dymotek's core values of living Dymotegrity, taking ownership, speaking your mind and possessing a passion for winning Qualified On the Job Trainer Final audit trained Gemba basics and value analysis trained Ability to work independently Ability to speak, read and write the English language Initiative, attention to detail, and the ability to work as a team player Possession of basic math skills Good motor skills Ability to lift an average of 20 cartons per day with a maximum weight of 50 pounds each Must be able to stand for 8-12 hours while turning, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, clutching, placing and lifting up to 50 pounds Highly Desirable
