• $20 per hour Job Overview The Manufacturing Operator will run molding machines and secondary operations as required while maintaining and confirming the quality of our products.

Responsibilities Safety is everyone's responsibility Visually and dimensionally inspect and assemble parts to quality specifications, being aware of critical visual and dimensional defects and determining acceptability of the parts. Complete inspection records accurately Ensure accurate packaging and traceability of product, including the correct labeling and accurate part count Perform basic equipment troubleshooting on auxiliary equipment Communicate with supervisor/lead operator regarding any unacceptable parts, malfunctions of the production process within their workstation, or safety issues Utilize route sheets and work instructions to ensure parts meet both customer and internal requirements Remove parts from injection molding machines during gate tended operations Make use of auxiliary equipment to aid in the assembly process.

Examples:

sonic welders, heat sealers/shrink wrappers, and granulators Perform routine cleaning of machines and work areas Account for and record production and scrap counts Follow all HACCP (Hazard and Critical Control Points) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) Expected to be available for work in both the Somers and Ellington production facilities. Job location may be shifted daily or weekly to meet production needs.
