Job Summary:

As an Extrusion Operator, you will set up and operate blown film extrusion equipment, supporting efficient and safe production while maintaining the highest quality standards. Fres-co offers hands-on training and a supportive environment to help you succeed, whether you are new to manufacturing or bring prior experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate blown film extrusion equipment according to production and quality standards Monitor processes and product quality; make adjustments as needed Perform in-process quality testing and accurately document results Complete job changeovers and prepare equipment for upcoming runs Troubleshoot process and equipment issues and escalate when necessary Maintain accurate production and quality records Follow all safety, GMP, SQF, and plant policies; report near misses or incidents promptly Participate in team meetings, continuous improvement projects, and training activities Conduct routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance Maintain a clean and organized work area using 5S standards Support training of new team members Perform housekeeping and other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred—training provided Ability to operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and basic hand tools Basic computer skills Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive physical tasks Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
