This role focuses on precision cutting, equipment inspections, and consistent housekeeping to maintain a clean, efficient workspace. The Day-to-Day:
Manage the cutting of failure units from the line using a bandsaw; closely monitor the cutting process once the saw is in operation to ensure proper performance and prevent issues. Perform daily inspections on bandsaws, tools, and related equipment before use. Maintain proper housekeeping in and around the work area to comply with 5S and safety standards. Work from shop papers, engineering specifications, schematics, and drawings, as well as verbal instructions, with minimal supervision. Use hand tools for repetitive clipping/cutting tasks as needed. Lift and move materials up to 30 lbs. with or without assistance. Perform other general duties as assigned by the supervisor. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment that may involve various packing materials and chemicals. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. with or without assistance; able to obtain and maintain Crane Certification as needed. Successful completion of required safety training (e.g., machine guarding, PPE, LOTO, hazard communication). Ability to stand frequently and perform repetitive tasks with hand tools. Demonstrated ability to read and follow schematics, drawings, and written/verbal instructions with minimal supervision.
Pay Rate:
$15.00 per hour
Schedule:
Sunday to Thursday 11:00 PM to 7:30
AM Pay:
From $15.00 per hour
