Laser Operator

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Laser Operator/Nesting Expert to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for nesting, setting up, operating, and maintaining laser cutting equipment to produce precision parts and components. Your expertise will ensure high-quality output while adhering to safety standards and production schedules. Duties Set up and operate fiber laser cutting machines for stainless steel sheet metal fabrication Load and interpret DXF files into nestings Monitor laser cutting operations and make minor adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency Inspect finished parts using calipers, gauges, and other measuring tools to verify accuracy Perform routine machine maintenance and report any equipment issues Read and interpret blueprints and basic GD&T requirements Handle and move stainless steel materials safely within the production area Maintain production logs and quality records Requirements Experience on Trumpf TruTops Boost Nesting/Operating Software is required. Previous experience operating laser cutting machines (fiber laser preferred) Experience in sheet metal or stainless-steel fabrication strongly preferred. Ability to read blueprints and basic technical drawings. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Basic math and measurement skills Conversion from fraction to decimal and mm to inch experience is a plus Forklift experience is required, certification can be provided. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Bilingual a plus
