High SchoolResponsibilities Set up, adjust, and operate Muller Martini Bravo and Presto 2 saddle stitchers for a variety of stitched products including booklets, catalogs, manuals, and direct mail pieces. Review job tickets, layouts, and specifications to ensure proper setup and production requirements are met. Perform make-readies, changeovers, and machine adjustments to optimize run speeds and minimize downtime. Monitor product quality throughout production, including trim size, stitch quality, pagination, folds, and overall finished appearance. Troubleshoot mechanical, feeding, stitching, trimming, and delivery issues to maintain efficient workflow. Conduct routine preventative maintenance, lubrication, cleaning, and minor repairs on equipment. Coordinate with prepress, press, bindery, and shipping teams to ensure smooth workflow and on-time delivery. Accurately record production data, downtime, waste, and job notes in production tracking systems. Maintain organized work area and adhere to all company safety procedures and housekeeping standards. Assist in training junior operators or bindery staff as needed.
