FUNCTION
The Batch Mixing Operator is responsible for accurately preparing, mixing, and processing raw materials in accordance with established formulas, production schedules and quality standards required in electronic component manufacturing.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 1.
Reads and interprets batch mixing instructions and recipes. 2. Inspects raw materials for quality and consistency. 3. Accurately measures, verifies and combines raw materials according to precise formulas and production schedules. 4. Loads, operates, monitors, and adjusts mixing equipment to maintain optimal performance and consistency. 5. Conducts in-process quality checks, including temperature, viscosity, and texture measurements. 6. Maintains detailed batch records for traceability and compliance with the quality system. 7. Cleans and sanitizes mixing equipment and work areas to meet safety and hygiene standards. 8. Collaborates with quality control and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve process issues. 9. Follows all manufacturing specifications and safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE and handling of hazardous materials. 10. Supports continuous improvement by identifying batch variances, minimizing waste, and maintains a clean and organized work environment. 11. Completes other assigned duties as needed.

REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or GED Experience in the operation of batch mixing equipment preferred or general manufacturing equipment required Basic math and algebra skills required Ability to understand and calculate percentages and ratios required Basic computer skills required Ability to read and write in English Ability to work with chemicals and wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Ability to work overtime as required
ENVIRONMENT
Climate controlled manufacturing environment with exposure to dust, powders, and batch mixed slurry. Exposure to noticeable odors from various ingredients and chemicals.
PPE REQUIRED
Safety glasses, gloves, lab coats, hair nets
PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS
Ability to bend, reach, sit and stand Ability to lift weight, maneuver, or exert force up to 40 pounds Good hand/eye coordination including manual dexterity to handle small tools and/or small units Good vision/ability to use a microscope
