Work environment:
Jacksonville site is unique; we are an electronics manufacturing, repair, and overhaul of engine ignition systems (exciters, leads, igniters), speed sensors, and harnesses. Your Responsibilities Perform functional tests (electrical, helium, and leak tests) to ensure accuracy and functionality. Perform visual and basic measurement inspection of parts following assembly steps, cuts, strips, and crimps wire as required, operates test equipment, and performs weight measuring as needed. Collaborate with team members to move parts and work orders through various departments. Train with Certified Repairman to gain Part 145 skills. Read and interpret dimensional measurements using calipers and scales. Follow written work instructions, processes, and procedures. Utilize a wide variety of hand and power tools. Learn and adhere to Part 145 Repair Station rules and regulations. Understand traceability of parts per Air Agency Regulations. Review FAA and Customer documents to understand processes and procedures. What We Are Looking For High School diploma or GED. One (1) year of experience in a manufacturing environment. Basic computer, math, and ERP skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Self-directed, motivated, and able to work in a team environment. Willing and able to frequently lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 25 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations. Willing and able to stand for extended periods. Willing and able to work with hazardous materials and cross-train. This role may encounter high risk or hazardous operations and/or include working shifts beyond a standard workweek. Must be at least 18 years of age by the time of joining.
