Responsibilities The 3rd shift Senior Operator - Machine Ops, Wire Extrusion working under limited supervision and direction, follows oral and written instructions, perform line assembly operations (including machine operations) to produce medical components. Performs complex tasks associated with the fabrication of medical components. Assembles components according to approved standards and procedures. Able to perform complex set-up, and adjustments of manufacturing equipment. Conduct complex quality inspection of own or other's work. Trained on multiple workstations where at least three are considered complex and/or critical. Accurately record and complete all manufacturing documentation. Gathers information and completes complex production reports as requested. Provides suggestions to improve quality, safety, output, and ergonomics. Performs material transactions. Work with engineers to produce custom parts and follow engineering protocols. Interacts with other functional groups (i.e., quality) to resolve issues. Provides advice and guidance to lower-level teammates. Must be able to perform job functions while walking and/or standing up to 100% of the time during a shift. Has completed basic production, health, safety, and environmental hazard training courses. Follows all corporate, safety and production standard operating procedures. Responsible for ensuring personal and company compliance with all Federal, State, local and company regulations, policies and procedures for Health, Safety and Environmental compliance. Able to perform entry level preventive maintenance tasks. Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to management. Qualifications Required Qualifications High school diploma. Requires a minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience.
