$42,000 - $48,000 per year shift: First work hours: 7 AM - 4 PM education: High School Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Equipment Operation:
Set up, adjust, and operate industrial cutting equipment (such as panel saws, CNC routers, guillotines, or automated cutters) to cut plastic sheets to exact specifications. Material Handling:
Retrieve, load, and handle raw plastic materials (acrylic, polycarbonate, PVC, etc.) carefully to prevent scratching or damage. Blueprint & Order Review:
Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and cut lists to plan cuts efficiently and minimize material waste. Quality Control:
Perform frequent measurement checks using calipers, tape measures, and micrometers to ensure finished pieces meet strict tolerance guidelines. Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
Perform routine preventative maintenance, blade changes, and basic troubleshooting on cutting machinery. Safety & Organization:
Adhere to all company safety protocols, wear required PPE, and maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace.
