Job Description

American Visual has openings for full-time & part-time machine operators. Qualified candidates must have a desire to work hard and be able to learn quickly. We need candidates who take pride in their work and care about everyone around them. Candidates must be team players who work to ensure the success of the team, not just themselves. This position includes learning proofing, vinyl cutting, digital printing, laminating, cutting, and packaging. Must be organized, detailed, and self-starter.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES THAT THE CANDIDATE WILL LEARN INCLUDE
Send files to print using Onyx. Running a Canon Colorado Roll to Roll Printer. Running a Canon Arizona Flatbed Printer. Ability to use an X-Acto knife and ruler efficiently. Running a Zund CNC Router. Mask, weed and apply vinyl to various substrates. Maintain machinery in good working condition. Use production Software to keep track of job progress and timelines. Meet Sign Production Timelines Keep a running inventory of all stock and supplies. Maintain an organized, clean and professional store appearance at all times.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to place onto and retrieve various types of substrates from a substrate rack including the upper shelves. Must be in good physical condition and be able to lift over 50lbs.
