Job Description

Our firm is partnering with a top medical manufacturer to hire an experienced Machine Operator. This is a role for a skilled doer who will set up and run high-end fabrication equipment to produce high-quality parts. We are looking for an independent professional who can maintain strict quality standards with minimal supervision.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Set up and operate CNC machines, milling machines, lasers, and punch presses. Load programs, set tool offsets, monitor tool wear, and make adjustments. Conduct regular quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and depth gauges. Read and interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders. Perform routine cleaning, troubleshooting, and preventative machine maintenance. Complete accurate production logs, quality documents, and required paperwork.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
2 to 5+ years of hands-on machine operation in a manufacturing environment.
Required Skills:
Strong CNC machine operation experience is mandatory.
Tool Proficiency:
Experience with milling, laser cutting, or punch press machinery is preferred.
Measurement Literacy:
Proficient in reading blueprints and using precision measuring instruments.
Physical Needs:
Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and handle repetitive tasks.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required.
