Job Description
Job Summary Do you envy the jobs of the HGTV stars? We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Model Home Installer to join our team. This position requires a strong attention to detail, computer skills, construction knowledge, general warehouse skills (when not on installations) and the ability to travel. Must enjoy working in a creative team environment. Responsibilities Assist in shipping, receiving and assembly activities, when not on model home installations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and on model home installs. Follow all safety protocols while operating equipment and handling home furnishings. Assist with the logistics of furniture placement and follow schematic details Install window treatments and art work at model homes Must be able to travel. Travel my include two night overstays, biweekly. Travel expenses paid by the employer which include airfare, hotel and meal stipends. Qualifications Basic knowledge of tools and construction Must be able to lift 50lbs. Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures Strong attention to detail with an element of creativity Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Ability to be self-motivated and work independently Must have valid
