Salary and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary range of $40,000 to $51,859, based on experience and qualifications. As a Bindery Operator, you will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring that our printed materials are finished to the highest quality standards. Daily Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain bindery equipment such as cutters, folders, and stitchers Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure accuracy and consistency Collaborate with the production team to meet project deadlines Follow job specifications to produce printed materials according to client requirements
Required Skills:
Experience in commercial printing and bindery operations Ability to operate and troubleshoot bindery equipment Strong attention to detail and quality control Understanding of color management and print production
Responsibility Overview:
Perform bindery function as noted on work orders/job tickets.
This may include:
folding, cutting, padding, numbering, GBC punching, spiral or coil binding, fastback, collating, scoring, perforating, drilling, stitching or stapling, laminating, and wrapping. Establish priorities by dates on work orders/job tickets, and when necessary, priorities set by management. Package jobs, complete job tickets/work orders and delivery receipts as necessary, and place them in designated areas. Arrange for delivery or shipping of items as needed using the shipper designated on the work order/job ticket. Keep equipment clean, lubricated, and operable.
