Production / Robotics Lead About Haddy Haddy's purpose is to bring a new sensibility to furniture manufacturing with reverence for people, passion, and the planet. We are revitalizing furniture manufacturing through local, sustainable, 3D printing microfactories. Role Overview The Robotic Manufacturing Operator supports the operation of Haddy's robotic 3D printing and advanced manufacturing systems. This role is ideal for someone who is mechanically curious, comfortable around equipment, interested in robotics and additive manufacturing, and eager to learn technical production processes. The right candidate does not need to be a robotics engineer, but they should be comfortable learning machine operation, troubleshooting, quality checks, production monitoring, and technical work instructions. Responsibilities Operate and monitor robotic manufacturing systems in a production environment. Prepare machines, tools, materials, and work areas for production runs. Monitor print / production quality and escalate issues quickly. Troubleshoot basic process, equipment, material, or quality issues. Follow standard operating procedures and production instructions. Use basic measuring tools and read dimensional prints or production drawings. Help maintain efficiency, safety, and quality throughout the production line. Document production activity, issues, and quality observations as required. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe robotic manufacturing work area. Collaborate with post-processing, material handling, engineering, and operations teams. Learn new technical skills and support continuous improvement in robotic manufacturing. Requirements High school diploma, GED, Associate Degree, technical certificate, or equivalent hands-on experience. Interest in robotics, automation, additive manufacturing, CNC, or advanced manufacturing. General understanding of basic measuring tools. Ability to read or learn to read dimensional prints. Comfortable working around complex machinery. Strong attention to quality, safety, and process discipline. Ability to communicate clearly and work well in a team. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Comfortable working in a rigorous production environment. Comfortable working in a multicultural environment with people of diverse backgrounds, identities, and experiences.

Preferred / Trainable

Skills CNC machine operation experience. Multi-axis CNC, robotic, or automated equipment experience. G-code exposure. Additive manufacturing or 3D printing experience. Mechatronics, automation, robotics, manufacturing, or technical school training. Experience in furniture, composites, plastics, fabrication, machining, or production environments. Forklift, pallet jack, or general material movement experience. What Success Looks Like Robotic systems are operated safely and consistently. Production issues are identified early and communicated clearly. Quality standards are followed every shift. Machine downtime is reduced through careful setup, monitoring, and basic troubleshooting. Haddy Pay:

$25.00 - $28.00 per hour
