Assembly Table Lead QXO, Inc. (

The Assembly Table Lead is responsible for leading a production team in the assembly of materials and components according to work orders and specifications. This role combines hands-on assembly work with team leadership, ensuring products are built accurately, efficiently, and safely. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and capable of guiding a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. What you'll do: Lead the assembly of materials and components based on work orders, drawings, and specifications Read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly Measure, position, and secure materials using hand tools and equipment Ensure components are aligned, fastened, and completed to quality standards Mark, label, and verify finished products for accuracy and tracking Lead and support team members at the workstation to meet daily production goals Provide guidance, training, and coaching to improve team performance Promote teamwork, communication, and accountability on the production floor Inspect work throughout the assembly process to ensure compliance with specifications Identify and correct errors or inconsistencies in materials or assembly Maintain attention to detail to ensure high-quality output Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Follow and enforce all safety policies and procedures Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and PPE Identify and report safety concerns or hazards Coordinate workflow at the assembly table to maximize efficiency Support continuous improvement efforts in production processes Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership What you'll bring: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or assembly instructions Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure accurately Ability to follow instructions and standardized processes Strong communication and teamwork skills Mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand tools Experience in manufacturing, assembly, or production environments Prior experience leading or training team members Familiarity with building materials or similar products Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks Ability to lift and move materials (typically up to 50 lbs, occasionally more) Comfortability with performing work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and equipment Comfortability with potentially working in varying temperatures and conditions Comfortability with exposure to machinery and production equipment Ability to work extended hours based on production needs What you'll earn Health Care Benefits Paid Time Off Benefits for union‑represented roles are determine d by the applicable collective bargaining agreement and may differ from standard company benefits.
