Job Description Help for Job Description. Opens a new window. We are looking for dependable and motivated Machine Operators to join our production team in Sanford. This is a full-time opportunity with a stable schedule and on-the-job training provided.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor production machines
- Read work orders, blueprints, and diagrams
- Inspect parts using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
- Make basic machine adjustments as needed
- Maintain quality and safety standards
- Keep work area clean and organized
Qualifications:
- Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience preferred, but not required
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer and math skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Forklift or other industrial equipment experience is a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling
- Ability to lift more than 10 lbs regularly
Required PPE:
- Steel-toe boots required
- Safety glasses required
