Shift:
3pm-11:30pm, will train on first shift Pay Rate/Salary of the
Metal Plating Technician:
$23-$26/hr Responsibilities of the
Metal Plating Technician:
Determine and set appropriate electropolishing parameters—including voltage, current density, temperature, cycle duration, solution chemistry, and racking setup—based on material type, part geometry, and finish requirements. Rack, fixture, and orient parts to promote uniform material removal while minimizing defects such as pitting, burning, or uneven polishing. Operate electropolishing equipment while actively monitoring process conditions and adjusting variables as needed to maintain consistent, repeatable results. Perform routine cleaning, upkeep, and preventative maintenance on electropolishing tanks, power supplies, ventilation systems, and related equipment. Monitor and manage electropolishing solutions, including concentration, temperature, filtration, and disposal, in compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory guidelines. Qualification of the
Metal Plating Technician:
Basic computer literacy is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions ranging from simple to complex in English. Effective communication skills to work with personnel across multiple functions and backgrounds. High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
