In this vital role, you will operate state-of-the-art laser cutting machines to transform sheet metal and other materials into high-quality components. Your attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and commitment to safety will ensure efficient operations and top-tier product quality. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machinery in a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence and innovation. Duties Set up, program, and operate CNC laser cutting machines to produce precise parts according to detailed blueprints and specifications Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards to ensure accurate fabrication Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting on CNC laser equipment to maximize uptime and performance Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and materials such as sheet metal for optimal cutting results Conduct quality inspections throughout the production process to maintain high standards of accuracy and consistency Assist with material handling using forklifts or cranes when loading or unloading raw materials or finished products Collaborate with team members on fabrication tasks involving plasma cutting, welding, press brake operations, CNC milling machines, lathes, or stamping presses as needed Experience Proven experience operating CNC laser cutting machinery in a manufacturing environment Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in CNC programming and setup procedures Skilled in blueprint reading and interpreting GD&T specifications for precise fabrication work Hands-on experience with plasma cutting, electrical discharge machining (EDM), or similar fabrication techniques is a plus Knowledge of tooling selection, calibration procedures, and quality inspection tools including micrometers and calipers Ability to work safely with hand tools, sheet metal materials, cranes, forklifts, and other manufacturing equipment Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and process adjustments
Pay:
$17.00 - $25.00 per hour Shift availability: Day Shift (Preferred)
