Machine Operator 1

Position Summary Awnex is seeking a Machine Operator I to join our Fabrication team. This is an entry-level role responsible for supporting the production of metal awning components through cutting, milling, and forming operations. This position is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, safety-focused, and eager to learn manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities Assist in operating fabrication equipment including saws, mills, press brakes, and shears Read and interpret basic blueprints and drawings Measure and verify materials using tape measures, calipers, and other tools Support material cutting, forming, and preparation processes Perform basic quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Follow all safety protocols and company procedures High school diploma or equivalent preferred Basic blueprint reading skills Ability to use measuring tools and basic hand/power tools Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Willingness to learn and grow in a manufacturing environment Previous manufacturing experience is a plus Why Join Awnex Opportunity to learn and grow within a skilled fabrication team Hands-on training with advanced equipment Stable, team-oriented work environment Awnex Inc. is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
