Job Description

BENEFITS
Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K AHF Products has a job opportunity for a skilled Extrusion Operator to be located at our plant in Cartersville, GA. The Extrusion Operator will be responsible for shift wise operation of the extrusion machine reporting to shift leader to organize the daily activities on the extrusion machine and is responsible for production results and optimum operation of the extrusion process. The operator checks the quality of the product and adjusts the settings as needed.
JOB DUTIES
Assist on starting up and shutting down of the line. Adjust setting if needed in communication with shift leader and within process specification. Monitors quality. Performs time sensitive quality checks. Ensure the extrusion line has correct raw materials. Accounts in system the produced products. Adjust, calibrate, and test equipment at the beginning of every shift to ensure proper pressure, speed, temperature, and general operation. Examine visually, weigh and measure components created from equipment at the end of the week to ensure machines are producing according to company and industry regulations and standards, adjusting as needed. Work with team members, shift supervisors and all necessary personnel to take care of complications as they arise. Communicate with fellow team members to learn of any equipment problems or malfunctions and take care of them as they come up. Use regulated cleaning solutions, grease guns, oil cans, air hoses and cleaning cloths to properly maintain and clean equipment on a bimonthly basis. Make repairs to equipment when necessary, and replace all defective, broken or worn-out components. Choose and install cutters, molds, and all other necessary equipment parts so machines are always operating at peak efficiency. Responsible for order and cleanliness. Follow safety guidelines. JOB QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED equivalent Extrusion experience Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Must be able to successfully complete and pass a background check, employment verification and drug screening Positive and Verifiable Work History
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Frequently will push, pull, carry, and lift 50lbs. Frequent walking, standing, stretching, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, grasping, and repetitive movements Occasionally required to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl Frequently must be able to work in moderate noise, up to 83 decibels. Exposure to noise environment requiring hearing protection. Must be able and willing to work in non-temperature-controlled environment, exposed to weather conditions.
