Job Summary:
SPC Printing Coating Operator's primary responsibility is ensuring the lacquer machines perform correctly.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for daily cleaning and daily, weekly, and monthly routine machine maintenance Start up and shut down of lacquer machines Set up machines (calibration, cleaning, etc.) Verify coating weights Verify adhesion to the substrate Use tools to measure UV energy Perform standard abrasion tests Identify defects and perform any necessary tasks Maintain the lacquer levels in the machines Performance Expectations (if applicable): Lifting is required of tools and parts with varying weights of 1 to 100 pounds. Standing and climbing on and off the lift truck is required. Bending is required to pick up parts and tools or work multiple times daily. Occasionally required to climb, balance, and kneel
Experience/Education Requirements:
High school graduate or GED preferred Must be able to stand, walk, bend, crouch, or sit for long periods, work in tight spaces, lift and maneuver objects of 50+ pounds
