POSITION SUMMARY
This position is primarily responsible for making complete machine mold changes and also assisting with minor repairs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform complete set-up of production machine molds Repair oil leaks; make adjustments to knockouts, cores, etc. Utilize fall-arrest system to perform work at heights greater than 4 feet Clean work area once Set-Up is complete Assist in startup/shutdown of machines as directed Keep shift supervisor informed of problems to machines, molds or other equipment After completion of Set-Up Check List, notify supervisor and assist in machine startup Operate equipment and perform job in a safe and efficient manner
EXPERIENCE
Prior experience involving mechanical aptitude preferred
EDUCATION
High School Diploma or
GED TRAINING AND SKILLS
Mechanical skills Verbal & Written Communication Teamwork/Cooperation Detail Orientated Handle Multiple Priorities Customer Focus Able to physically handle heavy mold parts
PHYSICAL DEMANDS / ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS
Routine close proximity and contact with petroleum based products Occasional maneuvering within tight spaces Temperature extremes of up to 110 degrees in peak summer months Routine use of force tightening and loosening large bolts using a 2 to 3ft. breaker bar NIBCO is committed to equal opportunity employment.
