Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic manufacturing team as an Entry Level - Machine Shop technician, where you'll gain hands-on experience working with a variety of precision machining equipment and fabrication tools. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop foundational skills in manufacturing processes, machine operation, and quality control. You'll be part of a collaborative environment focused on safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement, helping to produce high-quality components for diverse industries. No prior experience is required—just a strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and a passion for manufacturing excellence. Responsibilities Assist in operating various machine tools including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, and press brake machines under supervision. Learn to set up and troubleshoot equipment such as Okuma controls and CAM programming software. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications to ensure accurate fabrication. Use precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions and maintain quality standards. Handle materials safely using forklifts and other warehouse equipment while adhering to safety protocols. Support operations by performing basic hand tool tasks and assisting with fabrication or packaging processes. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and factory procedures. Skills Basic understanding of mechanical concepts and manufacturing processes. Training in operating CNC milling machines and CNC lathes. Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers accurately. Comfortable working with hand tools and materials handling equipment like forklifts. Strong attention to detail with good math skills for measurements and calculations. Effective communication skills for teamwork and safety procedures. Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience is beneficial but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Join us in building a rewarding career in manufacturing! $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
