Job Summary Operate 16-18 machines with safety, quality and production as top priorities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operate assembly machines observing all safety precautions, regulations and good housekeeping practices. Conduct two complete quality checks per shift using precision gauge and tools. Constantly visually check quality of slider parts and slider finish. Check parts feeder bowls for proper level of parts to ensure efficient operation of assembly machines. Fill feeder bowls with slider parts as required to prevent machine from stopping. Check assembly machines for any sticking parts and clear parts by using a pick or notify mechanic if mechanical problem exists. Know slider parts and different finishes. Understand job cards, record daily production and machine downtime and machine problems. Communicate any problems to mechanic. Perform other duties as assigned by management Must be able lift up to 50 lbs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (cont.)
