Bilinigual Spanish Mechnically inclined warehouse associate Temp to Hire Warehouse Monday to Thursday 6a to 4p $18 to start Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanically Inclined Warehouse Associate to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, proficiency in plastics processing techniques, and fluency in two languages to facilitate effective communication across diverse teams. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining various plastics manufacturing equipment, ensuring product quality, and adhering to safety standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative manufacturing processes within a dynamic environment. This position will require a very detailed and up to date resume AND you will be required to Interview! If you have experience with plastics in manufacturing it could be a plus! Shift is Monday - Thursday 6am to 4pm, Overtime may be available if the work load is heavy! Duties Operate plastics manufacturing machinery including blow molding, extrusion, injection molding, press brake machines, and CNC equipment with precision and efficiency. Conduct quality inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments to ensure products meet specifications. Set up and adjust machinery parameters using programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to optimize production output. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation. Handle materials safely using forklifts and other materials handling tools, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Assist in fabrication and assembly processes by utilizing hand tools and fabrication equipment. Support lean manufacturing initiatives by identifying areas for process improvement and waste reduction. Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, quality checks, and equipment maintenance logs. Requirements Proven experience operating plastics processing machinery such as blow molding, extrusion, injection molding, CNC lathe, or press brake machines. Mechanical knowledge of manufacturing equipment with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for machine automation adjustments. Warehouse experience including materials handling with forklifts is preferred. Strong understanding of plastics fabrication processes including blow molding, extrusion, and injection molding. Ability to perform quality inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments accurately. Basic math skills necessary for measurements, calculations, and process adjustments. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to promote efficiency and waste reduction in production workflows. Bilingual proficiency in English and another language relevant to the team environment is required for effective communication across diverse staff members.
