Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Yard Worker with experience in the lumber and construction industry. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working outdoors, loading and unloading materials, assisting customers, maintaining inventory, and helping keep the yard organized and safe. Responsibilities Load and unload lumber and building materials safely and efficiently Pull and stage customer orders for pickup and delivery Assist contractors, builders, and homeowners with material loading Operate forklifts and other yard equipment (training available for qualified candidates) Receive and organize incoming inventory Keep the yard clean, organized, and safe Conduct routine inventory checks Work closely with sales staff and delivery drivers to ensure accurate orders Follow all company safety procedures Qualifications Experience in the lumber, building materials, or construction industry preferred Ability to identify common lumber and building products Forklift experience is a plus Strong work ethic and positive attitude Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly Dependable attendance and punctuality Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Benefits Competitive Pay (based on experience) Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid Holidays Stable Monday-Friday Schedule Opportunity for advancement within a growing company Why Join Norcross Supply Co.?
