Job Description

Prior tufting machine experience is desirable but not required to be considered for this position. The company is located in Norcross, GA. About the
Role:
We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Machine Operator to join our production team in our Norcross, GA facility. You will be responsible for the efficient, safe, and quality-focused operation of tufting machines — from setup and threading through roll doffing and minor repairs — ensuring every order meets our specifications before it leaves the floor.
Preferred Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience operating production machinery. While specific tufting experience is a plus, we will fully train candidates with a strong background in operating other manufacturing machinery, such as:
Molding & Extrusion:
Injection molding presses, extruders, blow molders, or stamping/compression presses.
Continuous Feed & Web Handling:
Industrial sewing/quilting machines, slitter/rewinders, laminators, or high-speed printing presses.
High-Speed Assembly:
Automated packaging, form-fill-seal, or high-speed sorting equipment.
Spool/Creel Operations:
Wire stranding, braiding, or textile weaving/knitting machinery. Day-to-day Responsibilities Operate tufting machines efficiently, continuously checking the face of product for quality defects and getting defects corrected Thread needles and replace blades as needed throughout the production run Load and unload blade blocks Assist with primary backing changes Help mend the carpet using mending gun Diagnose and repair minor machine malfunctions to minimize downtime Meet all production, quality, and safety targets set by management What You Bring Excellent and consistent attendance record Strong commitment to safety rules and safe work practices Ability to maintain an orderly, clean work environment Clear communication skills and ability to work well with others Basic computer skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Other Requirements Overtime is required on occasion. Perform other duties as assigned.
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
