Full Job Description Pay:
$15-$21 range starting out Job description: Job Overview We are seeking an Embroiderer to join the Courtland & Co. team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for textile arts and a keen eye for detail. As an Embroiderer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality embroidered designs on various garments and textiles, ensuring that each piece meets our quality standards. This role requires creativity, precision, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. In addition to your embroidery duties, you will also be responsible for essential administrative and customer service work, which includes: Answering emails and managing correspondence related to orders and general inquiries. Providing excellent in-person customer service to people who visit the store, including discussing design options and communicating effectively about order status and needs.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for operating embroidery machines to create detailed and high-quality designs. Experience is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals. Create high luxury designs for products. Prepare fabrics and materials for embroidery by ensuring proper alignment and tension. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure accuracy and adherence to design specifications. Maintain embroidery machines by performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting minor issues. Keep the workspace organized and clean, adhering to safety protocols in the manufacturing environment. Trimming and ironing products. Customer service
Requirements:
Proven experience in garment construction and sewing techniques is highly desirable. Proficiency in operating sewing machines and embroidery equipment is preferred. Familiarity with manufacturing processes and warehouse operations is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow precise instructions. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines consistently. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a collaborative environment. A creative mindset with an appreciation for textile arts and design aesthetics. Available during holidays.
