In this role, you will set up, operate, and maintain equipment to produce high-quality metal components while ensuring accuracy, safety, and efficiency throughout the fabrication process. Responsibilities Operate and maintain plasma plate table equipment Perform daily, weekly, and monthly machine maintenance and document findings in Tekla Read and interpret blueprints, cut lists, and job specifications Verify material type, size, and job information before production Download job specifications and program machine operations as required Inspect completed parts to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met Clean and finish parts using hand scrapers and grinders Label, organize, and stack completed parts for shipment or assembly Remove and organize material remnants using a forklift Communicate production issues, equipment concerns, and material needs to the Shop Supervisor Assist with shop requests, inventory, and general fabrication duties as needed Maintain a clean and safe work area Accurately complete timesheets and production documentation Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 1 year of CNC machine operating experience Minimum 1 year of forklift operating experience Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents Basic math skills including fractions, decimals, ratios, and measurements Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver's license required Work Environment & Physical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift Ability to safely lift and move materials as needed Exposure to shop noise, metal fabrication equipment, and varying temperatures Use of PPE required while working in the fabrication shop Why Join TSF Structures?
