Job Description

SAW OPERATOR WAGE
$18-$22/HOUR
LOCATION
Cedar Rapids, IA A saw operator works in manufacturing (often HVAC metal fabrication) cutting raw materials to precise sizes using industrial saws. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate power saws / band saws to cut metal materials Choose and install correct blades and cutting tools Measure materials accurately using: Tape measures Calipers / gauges Read blueprints, cut sheets, or work orders Inspect finished pieces to ensure they meet specs Load/unload materials (sometimes using forklifts or cranes) Maintain equipment and keep work area safe and clean Skills & Requirements Basic math and measurement skills Ability to read a tape measure precisely Mechanical aptitude Ability to lift ~40-50 lbs and stand long shifts Manufacturing or machine experience (preferred but not always required) Please email resume to cedarrapids@careerpros.com Sedona Staffing Services is an
