JOB SUMMARY
The Immunotherapy Technician I will work under the close supervision of the Immunotherapy Supervisor to produce customized immunotherapy treatments (allergy desensitization therapies) for animal patients. Responsibilities include aseptically filling immunotherapy vials, preparing products for final packaging and shipment, and supporting daily lab operations to maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment. This position requires strong multitasking skills, attention to detail, and strict adherence to standard operating procedures at all times.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
PRODUCT
ASSEMBLY
35% of position responsibility Performs aseptic hand filling operations Prepares raw materials and filling operation set-up Cleans/disinfects the production areas
LAB MAINTENANCE
30% of position responsibility Verifies components/raw materials Orders and stocks supply Inventories all of the department raw materials and products Keeps accurate records of all work performed
PACKOUT/SHIPPING
30% of position responsibility Labels product Packages finished product Other duties as assigned: 5% of position responsibility
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Associate's Degree in Science or medical technology or equivalent work experience. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Excellent organizational skills and attention-to-detail Proficient in oral and written communications, both internally and externally Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment Ability to adapt and be flexible in a variety of situations Beginners' ability with Microsoft Office Suite, Internet Software and E-mail Proven ability to multi-task and be a self-starter Ability to troubleshoot errors and problems encountered during the production process Ability to perform aseptic hand filling operations. INTE Must be able to understand test methodology as well as have the ability to concentrate while performing repetitive tasks Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations Ability to effectively communicate with coworkers and vendors Ability to understand the nature of a government regulated business and the attention to detail that is required Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis Pushing and pulling up to 80 pounds Stooping, kneeling, crouching; walking; standing for extended periods of time Performing repetitive motions for extended periods of time Must wear personal safety protection as required including hair, eye and foot protection Good hand-eye coordination including good hand dexterity
