JOB SUMMARY

The Immunotherapy Technician I will work under the close supervision of the Immunotherapy Supervisor to produce customized immunotherapy treatments (allergy desensitization therapies) for animal patients. Responsibilities include aseptically filling immunotherapy vials, preparing products for final packaging and shipment, and supporting daily lab operations to maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment. This position requires strong multitasking skills, attention to detail, and strict adherence to standard operating procedures at all times.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

PRODUCT

ASSEMBLY

35% of position responsibility Performs aseptic hand filling operations Prepares raw materials and filling operation set-up Cleans/disinfects the production areas

LAB MAINTENANCE

30% of position responsibility Verifies components/raw materials Orders and stocks supply Inventories all of the department raw materials and products Keeps accurate records of all work performed

PACKOUT/SHIPPING

30% of position responsibility Labels product Packages finished product Other duties as assigned: 5% of position responsibility

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Associate's Degree in Science or medical technology or equivalent work experience. Bachelor's Degree preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Excellent organizational skills and attention-to-detail Proficient in oral and written communications, both internally and externally Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment Ability to adapt and be flexible in a variety of situations Beginners' ability with Microsoft Office Suite, Internet Software and E-mail Proven ability to multi-task and be a self-starter Ability to troubleshoot errors and problems encountered during the production process Ability to perform aseptic hand filling operations.
