MackayMitchell Envelope Company is seeking skilled Machine Adjusters who specialize in

W&D 627 & 628

high-speed envelope folding equipment. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for the setup, maintenance, and high-performance operation of our folding machinery to ensure we meet our "Mackay Method" standards of quality and efficiency. We are also paying top dollar for experienced 102 Envelope Adjusters Compensation is dependent on experience and could exceed posted rate. What You'll Do Machine Setup & Changeovers:

Perform complete setups and adjustments on 627/628/102machines according to job specifications.

Troubleshooting:

Diagnose mechanical issues and timing problems during production runs to minimize downtime and waste.

Quality Control:

Monitor product quality throughout the shift, making precise adjustments to ensure fold accuracy, seal integrity, and print alignment.

Preventative Maintenance:

Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure long-term operational reliability.

Collaboration:

Work closely with Machine Operators to maintain high-speed production targets while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications Experience:

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an Adjuster in envelope manufacturing (Specific experience with W&D 627/628/102 or similar high-speed web/blank fed equipment is highly preferred).

Technical Skills:

Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to use precision measuring tools and hand tools.

Problem Solving:

Proven ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical timing and paper-path issues.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a high-activity manufacturing setting.
