Forming Operator:

Read and understand manufacturing job orders to determine directions and processing of parts to be taken Order material from the warehouse Work safely and follow safety policies and procedures including Lockout Tagout as required Assist in general daily maintenance of equipment Accurately count parts and clocking of time, parts, scrap, etc. in manufacturing software Perform value-added checks and quality checks prior to beginning work and throughout the process to ensure accurate start and completion of the job order Complete labor reporting accurately through manufacturing softwar Set up machines and equipment as needed according to the job order requirements or set up sheet information Make boxes, sort, stack, and count parts Train new operators on equipment What You Need to Bring to the

Forming Operator Role:

High school diploma or GED 6+ months of related experience and/or training Manufacturing experience is preferred Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations #NEjobhunt Why You'll Like Working with Doherty Staffing Solutions Enjoy weekly pay , access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (including preventative and minimum value plans), and temp-to-hire opportunities for long-term stability where applicable.
