an Acetylene Plant Operator/Filler! Monday-Friday, 8 am - 5 pm $18.00 per hour to start East Boise work location Temp-to-hire Excellent benefits package upon rollover with an ESOP company!

DUTIES:

The safe start up and shut down of the plant at the beginning and end of each day Operate and monitor plant during operational hours Record required information on logs at required time intervals Safely filling Hydrogen, Chemtane, and Propane cylinders, according to procedures Respond to alarms promptly, assess the problem. and initiate the appropriate corrective action Perform visual inspection on cylinders prior to filling Safely fill acetylene cylinders and perform leak checks on all cylinders at predetermined PSIG Verify labeling is correct and readable on filled cylinders Follow established procedures for blowing acetylene cylinders down and getting them ready for re-qualification or maintenance Other tasks as assigned or necessary

REQUIREMENTS

High school graduate or equivalent Accurately enter data into computers Acquire a working knowledge of any software applications necessary to the position Good verbal and written communication skills Good organization skills Perform basic mathematics calculations Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Good problem-solving skills Basic knowledge of cylinders and gases Able to pass a background check Be drug-free
