Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented person to assist with our tube, plate and sheet laser operations. Previous experience is a plus but not mandatory. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines Monitor machine operations during production runs, making adjustments as necessary to maintain precision and consistency. Conduct routine maintenance on CNC laser equipment, including cleaning, troubleshooting, and minor repairs. Inspect finished parts using measuring instruments such as calipers to verify dimensional accuracy and quality standards. Maintain accurate production logs, quality control documentation, and safety records throughout each shift. Requirements Basic math skills for calculating dimensions, tolerances, and material requirements. Strong attention to detail combined with excellent problem-solving skills Ability to work efficiently on an assembly line or in a fabrication environment. Mechanical knowledge related to tooling setup, materials handling, fabrication processes, and machine maintenance. Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience with an emphasis on machining or metal fabrication is preferred. Knowledge of safety procedures related to the operation of laser cutters and heavy machinery; forklift certification is a bonus.
