This paid position is responsible for transforming a school gym into a welcoming worship environment each Sunday morning and restoring the space after services. This role is essential to creating distraction-free, excellent Sunday experiences for our church family and guests.
Schedule & Compensation Setup Shift:
5:00 AM•7:00 AM (2 hours)Tear Down Shift:
1:00 PM•3:00 PM (2 hours)Total Hours:
4 hours perSunday Compensation:
$100 per Sunday ($25/hour) Key Responsibilities Sunday Morning Setup (5:00•7:00 AM) Arrive on time and transform the school gymnasium into a worship-ready environment. Set up chairs, staging, signage, welcome areas, and any additional elements needed for Sunday services. Ensure the space is clean, organized, and welcoming before the first service begins. Sunday Tear Down (1:00•3:00 PM) Return after services to break down all church setup elements. Remove chairs, signage, staging, and equipment. Restore the gymnasium to its original condition per the school's requirements. Ensure all church property and equipment is properly stored. Equipment Care & Inventory Handle all church equipment, furnishings, and supplies with care. Report any damage, wear, or missing items to your supervisor promptly. Help maintain organized storage to keep week-to-week operations running smoothly. Team Coordination Work alongside other crew members and volunteers to complete setup and tear down efficiently. Communicate clearly with ministry leaders regarding any special setup needs for the week. Be willing to adapt and assist as needed. Maintain a Culture of Excellence and Stewardship Treat the school facility with respect and ensure all spaces are left in excellent condition. Represent Calvary Chapel Eagle well in all interactions with school staff and neighbors. Approach the work with a servant's heart and a commitment to excellence. Qualifications A growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ and alignment with the mission of Calvary Chapel Eagle. Reliable, punctual, and dependable—especially for early morning commitments. Physically able to lift and move chairs, tables, equipment, and staging elements (up to 50 lbs). Positive attitude and willingness to serve as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow setup diagrams and instructions. Available to serve consistently on Sundays (both morning and afternoon shifts). Must be 16 years of age or older.Pay:
