The Secondary Starter Room Operator is responsible for bulk blending and pasteurizing of various starter medias and cheese ingredients. Safely and effectively mix starter media, Totes of Non-Fat Dry Milk, starches and Whey Protein Concentrate WPC per daily schedule. Responsible for detailed hygienic and sanitation procedures of all blending and starter equipment per daily schedule. Accurately grade and record cheddar cheese per specifications. Accountable to regularly monitor starter inventory and place orders with managers as needed. Safely and effectively operate cold milk separator as needed. Liable for routine sanitation of cold milk separator in accordance with GMP specifications. The profile that shares this sense of contribution: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Minimum four (4) years of experience required. Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred. Lift Truck License required; in-house training provided.
