• Job Description - Manufacturing Department Team Worker Overview The Department Team Worker position is a full-time, entry level role.

This position reports to the Plant Manager (following the lead of the Department Lead), and its main function is to operate production machinery in support of business operations. This position requires a professional who is able to manage their workload independently while seeking out and adhering to instruction and direction as needed. Responsibilities

• May be assigned to work one of the following departments: Assembly, Ultimizer, Routing / Splicing, End Web / Web Saw
• Operate the industrial saws / assembly tables used to cut large pieces of lumber or other material into smaller, more usable pieces
• Load and unload raw material onto the saw(s)
• Unload finished products from the saw(s) in a safe and efficient manner
• Carrying, stacking, feeding, offloading, and placement of lumber
• Understand the capabilities of the equipment including proper use, potential safety hazards, and troubleshooting
• Follow all safety and operational procedures (special requirements of this role are ability to utilize eye and ear protection)
• May perform other duties at other workstations as assigned Minimum Qualifications
• Must be age 18 or older
• Current, valid Idaho Drivers License and satisfactory driving record is preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members
• Proficiency in the English language and general usage Beneficial Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Ability to work independently or within a team
• Demonstrated dependability, attendance, and punctuality Physical Requirements
• Sitting, standing, walking, reaching, climbing; all for either brief or extended periods of time
• Lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling of items up to 100 lbs
• Use of manual dexterity of limbs sufficient to safely fulfill duties
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, clients and vendors
• Ability to operate machinery, vehicles, and work site equipment Salary/Classification Full Time, Non-Exempt
