Laborer

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and hard working Laborer to join our fabrication team! In this role, you will be responsible for supporting all shop operations. This will include our Fabrication Shop, Machine Shop, Paint, Warehousing, and Shipping Departments. We have a fantastic crew of men and women employed currently, and are hoping to add to it! Duties Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load and unload shipments efficiently and safely Preparing projects for fabrication and paint in a timely manner Support shipping and receiving operations by preparing orders Handle materials with care during fabrication projects Utilize mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues and performing basic maintenance on tools like forklifts or cranes Support all departments by maintaining a clean, organized workspace and adhering to safety protocols at all times Expectation to support our Mobile Maintenance team in the field Requirements Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic repairs or troubleshooting on shop machinery Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, load & unload tasks, and extended periods of standing or walking Understanding of OSHA safety standards and best practices for materials handling and equipment operation Previous experience in welding or fabrication environments is a major plus Excellent team work skills and problem solving ability Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety and accuracy MSHA Certification (previous or current) is not required but would be very beneficial.
