Machine Operator Job Summary:

We are hiring a skilled Machine Operator to run and maintain cold forming machines in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role involves equipment setup, quality inspections, troubleshooting, and ensuring efficient and safe production.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, and monitor cold forming machines Perform part inspections using micrometers and calipers Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications Adjust machine settings to maintain quality and output Troubleshoot basic mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance Maintain a safe and organized work environment

Requirements:

Experience operating production or manufacturing machinery Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Ability to read technical drawings and perform shop math High school diploma or GED Attention to detail and commitment to quality

Work Environment:

Industrial facility with loud noise, oils, and heavy machinery Requires standing for long periods and working around moving equipment Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Addison, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
