Job Description
Job Description We are seeking a dependable Machine Operator to support packaging operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for operating packaging equipment, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring production goals are met safely and efficiently. Responsibilities Operate and monitor packaging and production equipment Perform equipment setups, changeovers, and minor adjustments Maintain accurate production and quality documentation Package products to required specifications, including weight and labeling Ensure Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safety standards are followed Inspect packaging materials and report quality issues Perform basic preventive maintenance and minor repairs as assigned Keep work areas and equipment clean and sanitary Support and assist packing team members Identify and separate product requiring rework Communicate daily production needs with supervisors Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Strong attention to detail and quality Reliable attendance and ability to work scheduled shift Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Frequent bending, lifting, reaching, and climbing Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs repeatedly Comfortable working around machinery and moving equipment Work Environment Manufacturing/production setting Work near moving mechanical parts and machinery PPE required (safety glasses, gloves)
