You will utilize your technical expertise to set up and operate advanced machinery, ensuring that every part meets stringent engineering specifications while contributing to our team's overall production efficiency. Responsibilities Configure and operate various CNC machine tools, including lathes and mills, to execute turning, drilling, and milling operations. Interpret complex blueprints, process sheets, and setup instructions to ensure precise component manufacturing. Perform machine setups, including tool installation and offset adjustments, to maintain tight tolerances. Conduct thorough quality inspections on your own work and peer components, documenting results to uphold rigorous quality standards. Troubleshoot machine performance issues and perform minor programming adjustments to optimize production flow. Manage data entry within the ERP system and actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve technical challenges and improve manufacturing processes. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while handling materials weighing up to 25 lbs. Qualifications Required Skills Minimum of 2 years of experience in CNC machining, including setup and operation. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical blueprints and work instructions. Strong mathematical aptitude and ability to perform precise calculations. Must meet U.S. Person requirements as defined by federal export control laws. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to machine setup. Preferred Skills Experience with resistance spot welding or multi-machine operation. Demonstrated ability to mentor or train junior team members. Familiarity with precision measurement tools and calibration procedures. Proven track record of success in a fast-paced, high-precision manufacturing environment.
