Job Description

Job Title:
Portable AC Delivery & Service Technician (Seasonal to Full-Time) Job Description Are you a hard worker looking for a great foot-in-the-door opportunity? We are a leading provider of portable air conditioning and heating equipment sales and rentals, serving a wide variety of commercial, industrial, and government institutions. We are currently seeking motivated summer help for a temporary, seasonal delivery and service role based in the Chicagoland area. This is an excellent, self-starting position that offers a direct path to advancement—successful seasonal team members will have the opportunity to transition into a permanent, full-time role. Compensation is commensurate with experience.
Duties & Responsibilities Delivery & Setup:
Safely transport, load, unload, set up, and pick up portable AC rental equipment at various client sites throughout the Chicagoland area.
Warehouse Operations:
Prepare units for dispatch by ensuring they are clean, fully functional, and "rent ready."
General Maintenance:
Perform basic maintenance on equipment and assist with general warehouse housekeeping as required.
Customer Service:
Maintain a professional demeanor and utilize good communication skills when interacting with clients during on-site setups and pickups. Requirements & Qualifications Must be 21 years of age or older. Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Must be able to pass a standard criminal background check. Strong communication skills and a dedicated, hard-working attitude. Physical ability to maneuver, load, and set up portable HVAC equipment. Prior experience in delivery, warehouse operations, or general maintenance is a plus.
Bonus:
Previous refrigeration courses or HVAC experience is a strong plus, but not strictly necessary!
Pay:
$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
