Machine Operators are responsible for operating, adjusting, and troubleshooting production equipment while ensuring quality and efficiency standards are met.
Schedule:
Monday - Thursday 1st
Shift:
6:00 AM - 4:30 PM 2nd
Shift:
4:30pm-3:00am •5% shift differential for 2nd shift •
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Load and operate assigned machinery and equipment. Understand and follow work instructions at each assigned workstation. Monitor production processes to ensure product quality and determine when adjustments or stoppages are necessary. Perform visual and Level 4 quality inspections during production using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers. Identify defective parts and properly scrap non-conforming materials. Make offset adjustments based on product quality requirements. Perform basic tooling changes under supervisor direction. Cross-train on additional equipment and processes as needed. Maintain production and quality records as instructed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience required. Must be at least 18 years of age.
Additional Responsibilities:
Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S standards. Assist in training other employees when required. Support other departments with production needs as necessary.
