Job Description

Basic Purpose and Objective of the Position The Operator Level 2 is responsible for proficiently operating and maintaining advanced production machinery under minimal supervision. They ensure the efficient operation of equipment, conduct quality checks, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Major Responsibilities:
Independently operate and maintain machinery such as EDM Wire, CNC Mill, Lathe, or other specified equipment. Perform setups including cleaning, calibration, and adjustments to start production cycles. Handle clean and tumble, slicing/TS23 operations independently. Monitor machine operations and adjust settings to ensure optimal performance. Conduct precision inspections using quality gauges and tools to verify part conformity. Perform multiple tasks efficiently during assigned shifts, demonstrating strong organizational skills. Take proactive measures to troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during production. Record production output accurately, including approved units and any identified defects or flaws. Assist with preventive maintenance tasks and adhere to safety guidelines and company policies. Apply Lean Manufacturing principles and actively participate in process improvement initiatives. Salary Range $26.00 - $29.50 per hour depending on experience .
Qualifications and Job Demands:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with proficiency in operating advanced machinery. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Strong attention to detail and understanding of Quality Control Principles. Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision. Self-motivated, focused, and results-oriented with a strong problem-solving ability. Experience or familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles is preferred.
Successful Essential Skills:
Proficient technical skills with the ability to operate and troubleshoot advanced machinery. Competence in using quality gauges and precision measuring equipment.
