Full Job Description Salary Range:
$18.00-20.00/hour (pending experience)

Assists with machine setup, prepares machinery for operation by setting up tools, mounting and demounting plates, preparing raw materials, loading materials, and adjusting settings as directed by the primary operator. Monitors press machine operations, observes the machine during operation to ensure the machine is running as expected, notifying the primary operator or supervisor of any issues or malfunctions. Has the ability to temporarily run machine during shift changes or as necessary. Assists with routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure proper operation of the machine and to maintain quality, efficiency, and safety standards. Qualifications, Education and Experience No experience required, 1-2 years manufacturing experience preferred. Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines. Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients. Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision-making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options. Self-confident, self-motivated polished professional who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment. Key Competencies Ethical Conduct • Problem Solving/Analysis Technical Capacity • Communication Proficiency Work Environment Work primarily in a manufacturing or warehouse environment. Hearing protection, safety shoes, vision protection and other necessary PPE as required. May be exposed to non-toxic/nuisance smells from chemicals, inks, airborne dust, moving mechanical parts, high noise levels and hot/humid environmental conditions in the manufacturing area. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This role routinely works around moving equipment. May need to get on and off equipment, stairs, this role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands/fingers to type, hold, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
