Assembly Operator I - 2nd shift

Work Schedule:

2nd Shift 2:30PM to 11:00PM If temp help is good, we can offer a full-time position.

Summary:

Assemble products for both internal and external customers.

Responsibilities:

Assemble parts as directed by Cell Lead. Effectively monitor production equipment. Read and understand bill of materials and blueprints of drawings. Communicate with Cell Lead on all issues related to discrepancies on drawing or BOM. Maintain productivity at levels that match or exceed production standards. Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. for movement of material and supplies. Must be able to stand for duration of the shift. Operator air and power tools, as needed. Responsible for following safety rules as well as using safe procedures. Work closely with the Quality Control Department. Empty the cardboard container and trash receptacles as needed. Keep all tools and supplies in their work area put away in the appropriate location on a daily basis. Keep work area clean and organized. Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

High School diploma or equivalent. Basic computer knowledge and familiar with Excel. Read and understand blueprints/drawings. Organization skills Mechanical aptitude. Communicate effectively. Knowledge of various types of equipment and processes such as: o Air and power toolso Rulers, tape measures and gages Ability to work independently.

Physical Requirements:

Continuous standing, moving and reaching with arms and hand. Frequently walks, bends, lifts and carries items. Occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 50 lbs.

Work Environment:

Work performed in a shop environment. Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, and odors. #

MSP Pay:

$18.70 per hour
