Machine Operator 1st or 2nd shift open!! Responsibilities Reference work orders to set up the production line accurately for each product run. Lead the setup of production filling lines and operate equipment in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. Perform machine changeovers and adjust settings to achieve required product specifications and quality standards. Facilitate and lead any adjustments needed to machine settings and make basic repairs as required to maintain quality and efficiency. Document all activities accurately per GMP requirements using Product History Records (PHRs) and production logs. Inspect and verify that bottles placed on the line meet quality requirements before and during production. Monitor product filling and packaging equipment to ensure effective and continuous operation. Make necessary adjustments to ensure correct fill levels and consistent product quality are maintained. Identify and communicate any product that does not meet quality standards to manufacturing leaders promptly. Verify that all correct raw materials are used for each production run and that materials match the work order. Complete and submit all required documentation and production logs in a timely and accurate manner. Troubleshoot issues on filling equipment to restore production quickly and minimize downtime. Meet and strive to exceed production requirements based on the capacity for each filling line. Establish and maintain an appropriate work pace to consistently meet production goals and deadlines. Assist with the training and development of other manufacturing personnel on equipment operation and procedures. Follow all quality procedures and ensure that products meet established standards and specifications. Adhere to all safety guidelines and practices in accordance with company policies and OSHA standards. Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area throughout the shift. Operate a forklift and pallet lift as needed to move materials, pallets, and finished goods. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gurnee, IL.
