Job Description

Your day at NPAA Step into our Small Paint Plant (SPP) and set the pace for safe, reliable, and precise paint production. As a Batch Filling Technician, you own the batch-filling process—prepping the Automated Pail Filling Room, verifying scales and load cells, and keeping mixers and filling systems humming. You'll partner with teammates across Operations to keep orders moving and customers satisfied. A shift in action Start by reviewing Standard Operating Procedures, batch tickets, process sheets, and safety requirements before any work begins. Run the full suite of filling equipment: automated pail-filling systems, scales/load cells, mixers, filling pumps, and filling machines. Package finished goods in the correct containers per customer-specific IDIOS and produce precise, compliant labels. Operate a forklift safely to stage, move, and store materials. Bring your voice to improvement teams—share ideas, solve problems, and help refine processes. Spot off-quality conditions early and initiate corrective actions following established abnormal process procedures. Use company IT tools—SAP, Microsoft Access Database, and Microsoft Office—to complete orders within the LPP process. Keep production areas audit-ready with strong housekeeping habits. Care for assigned equipment to maximize uptime and proper operation. Pitch in across other Operations areas outside of LPP as business needs shift. Transport waste from the point of generation to the 90-day Storage Area. Close and label waste containers accurately in line with NPAA procedures. Rewards you'll enjoy
